Agave Heritage Festival
Travel with us North to Aravaipa Farms Orchard & Inn, a nature-lover’s hideaway, to explore the world of pollinators and their impact on our region. Without bees, butterflies, and bats, our world would be unrecognizable, but without a commitment to protecting them, the harsh reality is, that is the world we are creating. Find new inspiration to create change from experts in the field of pollinators – Rodrigo Medellin (renowned ecologist in the field of bat conservation) and Noel Patterson (Tucson’s favorite beekeeper). The event features a tour of the orchard and farm, presentations, a butterfly release ceremony and culminates with an artisan brunch highlighting the produce from our region in a farm to table setting. Celebrated chef Elizabeth Johnson, Executive Chef of Pharm Table from San Antonio, will create a masterfully designed menu that shines a light on the fruits of the labor of our Sonoran pollinators.
