Family Zoom Class: Sunday Funday Strawberry Dessert Tacos with Chef Miguel Heredia

Family fun is on the menu as you’ll cook with Lodge on the Desert Executive Chef Miguel Heredia and pay homage to National Taco Day on Oct. 4. You’ll make vanilla tuile cookies as the shell, strawberry mousse filling and strawberry, pineapple and mint salsa to top your tacos off.

And, since it’s Family Sunday Funday, joining Chef Miguel in the kitchen will be his mom, Norma Heredia, whose love of baking and making wedding cakes was the early inspiration for Chef Miguel’s passion for food and career path.

CLASS NOTES: This is a cook along class offered live via the Zoom app. You’ll receive an email with recipes and class details 7 days in advance. Some time-consuming steps may need to be prepared in advance. Virtual classes are nonrefundable.
