Free with entrance to the garden. Help us recreate one of Tucson's historic festivals--the spring wheat harvest. It fell by the wayside with the decline of agriculture on the historic floodplain of the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, but we bring it back to life at Mission Garden. Corresponding to the Saint's Day for Saint Isadore, the patron saint of farmers and laborers, we recreate the festival in all its details. Watch the wheat harvested, threshed, winnowed. Taste pozole de trigo.
