The first annual Sonoran Desert Sustainability Summit on Saturday, September 3rd. Featuring a keynote conversation with Finian Makepeace, Co-Founder of the national soil health nonprofit Kiss The Ground and Mexican musician and environmental activist Caloncho, joining local award winning culinary figures, researchers, farmers, permaculturists, and more. The summit aims to host conversation and foster connection between creative minds focused on a more regenerative future in the Sonoran Desert, which currently sits on the front lines of the climate crisis with water shortages, food insecurity, desertification, and extensive drought. "If we can do it here, we can do it anywhere."
