Join these innovative cocktail experts with incredible chefs who you’ll cook along with creating yummy little bites to perfectly pair with each drink.

It’s only fitting to kick off the series with Tucson’s own award-winning Whiskey Del Bac and its Brand Ambassador Jax Donahue and one of the city’s finest chefs, Devon Sanner, for this sip and cook along class.

In 2006, while drinking Scotch and barbecuing with mesquite scraps from his custom furniture company, Arroyo Design, Stephen Paul had a thought. Why couldn’t he malt barley over mesquite instead of peat, as they do in Scotland, for a single-malt whiskey with a flavor distinctive to the American Southwest? In 2013, three distinctly different Whiskeys Del Bac hit the local Tucson marketplace, weaving the rich mosaic of our Southwestern heritage with traditional Scottish distilling methods, yielding a truly unique blend of cultures and traditions in every bottle.

Mixologist Jax and Chef Devon combined their incredible talents for flavor combinations and pairings to create three incredible and guaranteed delicious offerings that will make any night of the week’s cocktail hour special and memorable.

Cocktail 1: The S.S.S with Whiskey Del Bac Dorado, honey syrup, citrus bitters and other ingredients.
Savory Bites 1: Prosciutto-wrapped fig, honey + chamomile goat cheese, thyme, prickly pear gastrique.

Cocktail 2: The Lawless Drinker, using Whiskey Del Bac Old Pueblo, passion fruit, vermouth and lemon.
Savory Bites 2: Ginger and lemongrass shrimp spring rolls with coconut and peanut dipping sauce.

Cocktail 3: Stone Fashioned, features Whiskey Del Bac Classic, peach syrup and other ingredients.
