In this workshop, we will use a restorative yoga practice, meditation, and journaling to explore the power of rest. On a physical level, restorative yoga encourages you to do nothing - to rest your muscles, bones, and mind. On an energetic level, restorative yoga helps to activate the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for rest, energy conservation, and digestion. While we might move very little on the outside, the goal of this workshop is to tune into what we're feeling on the inside. Journal prompts and discussions will help us consider how to prioritize rest in a frenzied world that is built on exhausting all resources - including human ones.
